Film-makers declared that Kantara is releasing on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Videos, on November 24 after successfully playing for 50 days in theatres.
The storyline of Kantara:
Kantara is a romantic thriller that is set against the backdrop of a village in Kerala. It brings to life the traditional culture of Kambla and Bhootha Kola while taking place in a fictional village in Dakshina Kannada. The film revolves around the love story of a young couple, who are torn apart by the caste system. Demigods are thought to be the village’s guardians, and their energies are said to surround it. When ego conflicts swirl amid the local customs and culture, there is a ripple in the plot. Shiva is rebelling and working against nature in a fight between humanity and the former. He gets into heated arguments that escalate into a battle between the villagers and evil forces. Can Shiva bring back harmony and peace?

Now the question is how many languages are available to watch this movie. Kantara movie will now be available to Prime members in Malayalam, Tamil, and the Telugu language dubs only. The release date for the Hindi version of Kantara has yet to be announced.
