Demon Slayer season 3 release date
As of November 2022, we don’t know the Demons Slayer season 3 release date, but it is definitely on the way. By looking at the anime studio Ufotable’s typical production patterns, we can begin to make some pretty solid guesses on when we can next see Tanjiro and company.
Ufotable has always been pretty consistent when it comes to Demon Slayer releases. The first season of Demon Slayer dropped in 2019. Then, the first arc of Demon Slayer season 2 aired in October 2021, and its final arc wrapped up in February 2022. Taking this into account, it is safe to say that fans can expect a 12-month gap before season 3 releases.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Plot
As previously reported, the Crunchyroll teaser has revealed that the third season of Demon Slayer’s story would center on the Swordsmith Village arc. According to the series canon, the upcoming episode of the anime will cover chapters 100–127 of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga.
The Swordsmith Village arc in the Demon Slayer manga occurs immediately after the Entertainment District arc. Which was featured in Demon Slayer season 2. For those who don’t remember the previous chapter of the anime, Tanjiro, and Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui made history at the conclusion of Demon Slayer’s last season by beheading two of the Twelve Kizuki’s upper six members: the demonic twins Gyutaro and Daki.
The demon king Muzan Kibutsuji’s inner circle’s highest echelons, which had been immovable for ages, were shaken by the Demon Slayer gang, but Tanjiro also damaged his reliable demon-slaying sword in the course of the epic conflict.
Tanjiro needs to mend his sword before he can carry on battling and collect demon blood, which he needs for his mission to transform his sister Nezuko back into a human. Therefore, the astute hero travels to the Swordsmith Village so that Hotaru Haganezuka, a swordsmith associated with the Demon Slayer Corps, can fix his sword.
