The first season of 1899 consists of 8 episodes that were made available to subscribers on November 17. What We Know So Far About Season 2
Since Netflix hasn’t approved a second season yet. We don’t know much about it. But there’s a strong case for another to come next. In the end, Maura “wakes up” in the year 2099, and it turns out that her brother planned the whole thing.
We have our own ideas about what’s going on here (we think it’s another simulation inside this one!). But it’s clear that now that our characters are in two different places, solving one mystery only makes room for another.

The story of 1899 season 2 will probably begin in the year 2099, on board the space station Prometheus. Where the first season left off. When Maria awoke from suspended animation, Ciaran sent her a message informing her that she was now in the real world.
Many of the other survivors are gathered around her and they all seem to be drifting off into a deep sleep as they move over the sky. No further background is provided, but if it does, season 2 is there to cover it.
